Goals

Short-Term Goals
Things I would like to accomplish in the next few months.
	Get control of my finances to put myself in better position for future endeavors.
	Get on the road to fitness by losing 10 pounds.
	Get back into the habit of reading again.
Medium-Term Goals
Things I would like to accomplish in the next few years.
	Purchase my own home.
	Become far more competent with Perl.
	Acquire more knowledge on Cisco networking.
	Branch out and explore other forms of music.
	Further my interest in photography.
	Further my knowledge of music theory, especially in the way that it applies to guitar.
	Learn a Dimebag Darrel solo, and be able to play it without mangling it too much.
	Learn to play the drums.
	Learn some Stevie Ray Vaughan songs.
Long-Term Goals
Things I would like to accomplish sometime before I'm gone.
	Raise a happy and prosperous family.
	Sightsee in the Rocky mountains.
	Visit all 50 states.
	Give something back to the Open Source Software community.
	Visit all seven continents. Well... maybe not Antarctica.
	Play a song of my own live in front of more than ten people.
	Learn to drive stick.
Ongoing Pursuits
Things that will require continuous effort and discipline.
	Keep in touch with people I consider good friends, no matter the distance.
	Fight my tendency to procrastinate.
	Resist my natural tendency to be a hermit, and be social.
	Continue playing the guitar regularly, learning new skills and songs regularly.
