Exhibit A: The clock!

As my primary source of evidence for why the midnight shift stinks, I refer you to exhibit A: the clock. It's around 5:00AM right now, and I'm very much awake. Last night (sunday evening I suppose) I tried to hold out and make it to the evening so I would be more likely to sleep longer throughout the night. I crashed out at like 8:30, and I was promptly up at 2am. I was not really happy, but it wasn't unexpected. Well, yesterday I tried to do the same thing, and I made it until around midnight and crashed out. You guessed it… up at 3am. I made an astounding hour of progress. Now I'm up, not even tired, and I don't work until noon today. Maybe I'll actually be tired enough to sleep tonight.
